Technique #2: Accept Yourself and Others

Course: Spirituality: The Top 25 Best Techniques For Becoming Enlightened And At Peace

Goal: 25 Techniques
Description:

One of the hardest things you can do is to accept who you are. We all have specific strengths and weaknesses; some can be changed, but others can't. It is important to accept the things you cannot change and work around them to better yourself. I am a workaholic, which sometimes works to the detriment of my family.

Accepting all of yourself, including your spirituality, helps the pieces of your life fall into place. Conversely, until you accept who you are, you will not be able to give yourself to others wholly.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

No one is perfect.. Sometime good, sometime bad. I am not perfect either. I try to avoid it .. no matter what the excuse is. I am tired, or busy, but I act crazy sometime. One such weakness of mine was, I was impatient. I had to work alot to improve my patience. I meditate..

No one is perfect and I am no exception to it. I have weaknesses and strength as well. I have an emotional heart - I feel for others more than I feel fr myself. I feel I fail to be a practical person. I am unable to take up the world and the daily challenges with a smile. It worries me - affects me badly. I feel weak.

But, sometime I feel it gives power as well. When I am following my heart. This is confusing, for I am often stuck in between my heart and my intellect. Trying to learn and accept myself on this perspective.
