  • Watch a funny YouTube video.

Either do a search for a funny video, or pick a week’s worth of funny videos in advance.

  • Read a guilty-pleasure magazine or website.

 Take a few minutes to read something that lights you up, even if it does absolutely nothing for your productivity or pride. Read a gossip magazine, go on PerezHilton.com, or anything that makes you feel really good - no matter what other people might think.

  • Look at pictures that remind you of great memories.

One of the easiest ways to feel happy is to reconnect with great memories that you have. Look at some pictures you have that bring you back to happy times.
