Reconnect with old friends

In Jose Taylor's plan
Goal: Boost Your Relationship in 5 minutes

Timing:1 times per Day

Description:
  • Write a Thank You email to someone

You could thank someone for something big, like always being a great friend to you, or for something small like “Thank you for bringing in cookies to work yesterday.”

  •  Write someone an email to let them know you’re thinking about them.

You can let them know that they don’t need to respond if they’re busy, but they’re in your mind and you wanted to say hello. You might even let them know a few things you appreciate about them in the email.

  • Have a long-standing 5 minute call with a friend.

If you have a full life, have a regular 5-minute call where you and a friend get to spend 2.5 minutes each sharing about what’s going on for them. Set a timer if you need to. This can be something you do every day, every other day, or once a week.

  • Respond to any outstanding text messages.

If you take a while to respond to people like I do, you might take a set amount of time every day to respond to any outstanding messages.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

Few of my friends shifted to other cities for work. Finally, we came up together. We were all sick and tired off our mindless taret chasing life. We contacted each other on facebook and now going to meet them tonight!
