I noticed one thing. As I pour in my worst feeling, stress, I get free from it. It is like that memory basin Professor Dumbledore of Harry Potter had. I do write every night before going to sleep. I also write in the most beautiful moment of the day I am grateful for.

Look to reduce stress in spiritual endeavors. People who participate in religion have been shown to have lower levels of stress.

I make sure I go to Church every Sunday. I make it as my top priority.

Appreciate the fact that you can glean from past experiences and do things differently. You should not remain rooted like the Sphinx statue, licking your wounds and feeling sorry for yourself. Get up, get out and go do something about it. Not giving up is the hallmark of a happy person. Avoiding the pitfalls of self-pity is the sinewy stuff of champions.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

Yeah... true. . . . I had done several mistakes. I have been bothered by my failures .. but now no more .. I have surpassed all the pitfalls. Now I am being proceeding....

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

I used to live in my past - thinking over and over again where I have been wrong. But to do the right thing I need to move away from my past.

Rather than complain about anything, be grateful that you have not lost everything.

Learning to appreciate these things and moments play a huge role in creating a peaceful and happy life. Although the things themselves may be small, failing to appreciate them has really big ramifications! Rather than seeing and experiencing the perfection of a divine plan, most of it is largely disregarded by people. The wonder and awe of life is diminished, the feelings associated with appreciation and gratitude are missed, and, perhaps more than anything, you will be sweating the small stuff all the time. The reason this happens is that your attention is not on what is right, beautiful and special. It is on what is wrong, what is irritating, and what is missing. Your focus of attention will encourage you to be “on edge” and on the lookout for problems instead of the small things that bring big joy and are right there in front of you. When the bulk of your attention is on what’s right with your life, what’s precious and special, the payoff is enormous. You’ll re-experience the feeling that life is magical and every moment is to be treasured. Instead of complaining about the litter on the side of the road, you’ll notice the colors of the trees and plants. Again, your attention will feed on itself and, over time, you’ll notice more and more things to be grateful for and your habit becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of happiness.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

To claim your values, it is helpful to have a list to work from. After you have a list of values to choose from, set a timer for three minutes. Read through the list of values and circle every one that your gut says fits you. When the timer goes off, copy all the circled words down into a shiny new list. This list will be the perfect place to really dig into what your heart tells you about which values are truly yours.

This clarity around my personal values has assisted me in making decisions more quickly, and better yet, I’ve found a greater satisfaction around the decisions I make. This has created a domino effect of goodness in my world. These values have led me to better decision making and has led me along the path of greater confidence in myself, and generated an overall feeling of happiness around my day-to-day life.

Life without values is mess... No one would have a direction in life.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

1. be kind.

2. be successful

3. have a mate

Driving values of my life....

Listen to your body. Listen to the way it reacts to certain decisions that you make. Pay attention to your energy. Do you come alive and energetic after carrying out any specific activity?

Gardening… bungee jumping… video games… photography… whatever it might be is fine. You do not have to be an expert. Who cares if you suck at it, what matters is that it gives you true bliss. It is not for the money, it is simply for the pleasure that it brings. Most people know what they need to do in order to become happy.

They are just not lion-hearted enough to take steps and get it done. Dare to be different. Be bold, find your joy zone and experience happiness.

 Activity: Locate Your Joy Zone

Happy zone..... happy zone.... it is taking me so mucuh time ... I guess I forgot what actually makes me truly happy from inside..

  • Puppies,
  • Music
  • Photography
  • Cooking may be - I used to watch my mom cooking for me ..

Man! How could I forget that?

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg
 Activity: Locate Your Joy Zone

Finding my joy zone was some difficult task. I love hiking, longboarding, but they are nothing like what I am crazy about. It took me over a month to identify what I failed to see. I used to paint a lot back in school. I found a few lost paintings tied up in a chest up there in my attic.

Gosh! It was some moment.. I rushed to the stationery store.. got a whole collection. And my painting zone is getting ready.

We all need goals to motivate us and these things need not only be challenging enough to excite us, but also achievable. If we try to attempt the impossible this brings unnecessary stress. Choosing ambitious but realistic goals ushers our lives into direction and brings a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when we achieve them.

Get set. Get yourself a notebook and a pen (or use your computer). Make sure you can have at least twenty minutes undisturbed. Now imagine yourself in the future - say 5 or 10 years from now. Think about all aspects of your life - your home, work, relationships, leisure activities etc. Start writing. Keep going for 20 minutes or longer if you want to. Remember - there are no rules to this, just start to describe what comes into your mind about your dreams for the future. No need to try to “get it right”.

Do it for three days. Then reflect on what you have written. A little less conversation and a little more action works. Once you’ve decided on a goal to achieve, it feels amazing! Make progress, even when it sucks, and let the satisfaction of accomplishment be your reward. Life gets in the way of our biggest goals sometimes, you already know that a break is allowed but quitting is not. Always come back to the goal.

 Activity: Set Your Goals

I have set goals for the next week. It compromises of some personal goals - getting back to workout, gardening, and bit of housekeeping.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg
 Activity: Set Your Goals

I am getting started with my journal and also setting the goals.

Isolate the positives in your situation. Change or add to the activity to make it more enjoyable. Let’s say you are drinking a cup of tea while working on an assignment for class. You should remember to ask yourself if you are enjoying the moment, and you should realize if you are not.

It’s not enough to simply do something on your list so you can cross it off. You must do it and be immersed enough in the activity to enjoy it thoroughly. If you didn’t enjoy doing it, then it doesn’t count. Be honest with yourself. Don’t put something on there because you want to enjoy doing it. Only put something on your list if you know that you actually find that activity pleasurable. Take your time here, because this exercise will only be effective if your list truly reflects your own desires. You should regularly update it with new items as you think of them.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

Sadly, this is the only thing missing from my life now. Feels like mechanical schedule. No passion, no persuasion!

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

We are so much bothered with the negative events, troubles and fear than we miss out that life is so beautiful despite of all the darkness. I try.. my best to include as much positivity as possible.

Close friendships display strong support and affection. A good friend plays the invaluable role of a confidant and someone who listens, pays attention and is always willing to help as well as shares similar interests. In other words, the ability to make friends will make you happier.

if you’re eager to make friends but find it tough: take Woody Allen’s lead that “80% of success is showing up,” a big part of friendship is showing up. Whenever you have the chance to see other

people, take it. Go to the party. Stop by someone’s desk. Make the effort. You can leverage on social media tools. But do not make them a permanent habit for relating with people and making new friends.

Wear a smile.

Your intentions for the day will determine your direction for the day. It is your attitude that defines your altitude. What you desire is what you would eventually get coming to you. Before you go anywhere or get your day started, position your intentions properly and make it clear that nothing is going to soil your day. And this will ensure that happiness tags along with you, all the way.

 Activity: Watch Your Mind

So my basic intent is to control my temper - New Mission.. My Mission Impossible!

Eat whole food, fruits and vegetables. Limit eating carbs. Dark chocolates are good – elevates mood.

Cooking is easy too but a lot of people are scared to do it, we've got a generation now of parents who do not really cook and they have no confidence that it's something they actually want to do. Cooking is best left to the culinary professionals, those who actually get paid to do it. Sadly, ready meals and takeaways are really of poor quality, made with the cheapest ingredients and designed to store well. They are rarely as nice as something made at home with a bit of time and effort.

Please refer to the book for more details on this activity.

Keeping my eyes wide open!

When we avoid feelings, fear unconsciously drives our behavior. We organize our lives to avoid feeling difficult emotions. We stay stuck. It’s so normal yet so unhelpful.

The “yes” allows you to open up your life to the inevitable and by extension more happiness. How to say “yes” even when you do not really feel like it? Here’s help! The next time you struggle with an unpleasant emotion, instead of pushing the feeling away, lean into it. This involves going into your body and noticing what the emotion feels like physically. As much as you want to turn away from this feeling, get to know it. Learn as much as you can about it. Use adjectives to describe the feeling in great detail- its color, shape, movement, texture, location, temperature.

.To say yes is to accept your life completely, with all of its richness and complexity and messiness. In the words of Jon Kabat Zinn, it is like “putting out the welcome mat” and allowing everything to come in. Being human is a guest house. Every morning there is always a new arrival. It could be joy, the great depression, a momentary lapse of concentration anything can waltz into your life as an unexpected visitor. It does not have to ring your doorbell, so prepare for it. We are only human; it will set us back a bit. But you need to pick up the pieces and recover.

Start your day off on the right foot. Choose to spend your breakfast time with an optimistic influence for example a book, a blog or your mom. Or talk to someone early in the day that most often supports and cheers you up like a co-worker or a friend in school. When things have been standing still for while or you hit a road bump it is easy to always back down. To shrink. To give in or give up. But a better way is to say yes and find the bright side in those situations. Keep going. When you fail or make a mistake do not give up. Reconnect with optimism. Find inspiration from books and blogs and the people around you. Do not beat yourself up. Instead nudge yourself back on track once again.

Saying 'Yes' is sometime tough when so far I have concentrated on saying NO!

Love your process, independent of outcome.

You know why people don’t do stuff like that? Because they worry about outcome. But I was obsessed with the process—I just liked planting bulbs. I liked learning about all the different kinds. I can identify hundreds of bulbs just by their shape.

As it is said focus on the journey, not the destination.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

As I have started to enjoy evry bit of the journey I realized I got more focused and productive.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

That is so much valid. Lie, I always think I need to get to the top. But fail to enjoy the hard work, therefore I don;t learn and repeat mistake. Probably, that's why I fail for a bit.

From now on I will love the process, the journey.

When you have extreme work-pressure on your head taking a break is more than a luxury. All the work stress was building up and I was having short bursts of stress which was getting pretty regular with each passing day. I was also getting some serious health problems like gastrointestinal problems, blood pressure, headaches. I was at such a point when I have to visit a doctor and was advised to cut down the stress out of my life. This is when I decided to take a 15 days break and went out with my girlfriend to on a road trip .We took her dog Daisy along and it was so fun. Yes! I don't know when was the last time I felt so free and alive. I worked even during those days, but I was still like enjoying myself. I almost felt like I got 10 years younger. I felt creative, more responsible towards our relationship, energetic…….. So stupid I was. Should have taken this break long back.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

It's christmas and by no means I can focus! Just can't wait..

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

Oh! I do suppose so. I try to get out for a small work, when I think II can't take it anymore. And return with double energy and enthusiasm.

Whatever issues, problems or troubles you’re dealing with, chuck it! Life goes on. Moping and crying and bitching and complaining about it won’t fix it.

And if it’s not possible to fix it, you’d be wasting your time trying to. So Chuck it! Move on and focus on what matters.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

Jason Jasons
 Activity: Mantra 1. Chuck it

My life have been a rollercoaster for the last one year - so hard to manage everything. Lost everything, everyone around me. All my friends drifted away from me because I had a serious health problem. Starting my life back wasn't easy a little - it is a miracle that I am alive right now. Just my old parents kept up with me. Apart from them almost everyone left me - I was shattered. for 5 months,I kept thinking 'why me?', 'what have I done that I have to face this?' But, now I understand that it was an eyeopener. I learned from my sickness, life what  and who should really matter for me. It took me more time to accept the present - accept myself. I feel like a baby learning to take his first steps.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg
 Activity: Mantra 1. Chuck it

It is very easy to chuck it but hard to move on. If you can do itthen nothing couldbe better than that. Well, I think trying to get busy with something else will be a better way to move on.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg
 Activity: Mantra 1. Chuck it

Yes, right... I guess I waste a lot of time scrutinizing every. Probably that's making me crazy.

Does it? How often do we go through the day, doing things without questioning whether it matters or not? That argument you had the other day…. What If you asked yourself – “does it matter” before it started. Would the outcome have turned out differently?

Ask yourself does it matter when you are complaining, getting pissed, holding down jobs. In short ask it yourself for all your actions. If it doesn't matter than what are you really doing.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

  • Timing: When you Day

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

How does it matter if I am working behind the desk or making a living by doing things that I like doing and being happy. Is there any difference? It is a few thousands of dollars - than can make my lifestyle a comfortable but at the cost of my mental, physical and emotional well being. It may not matter for anyone else but it matters to me - The payout does not matter as long as it makes me happy and alive.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

Right it seriously doesn't matter much.. I am giving it too much of attention.

“If you work hard on your job you’ll make a living. If you work hard on yourself you’ll make a fortune.” – Jim Rohn

Repeat it every day and do it nonstop. Repeat it so much that your lips fall off your face. And your vocal cords wear out.  You’re the best investment you’ll ever make in your life. And that’s why this mantra matters. The more you work on yourself, the better your results will be. If you refuse to work on yourself, then you can expect things to remain the same and never improve.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

Trying out some anger management stuffs. Didn't join any class yet, but if it continues I think I have to look out for one.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

since I started focusing on myself... life has changed fro better! Life is simpler now.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

There are so many things to work on... I don't know where to start from. However, the first thing I need to work on is my TEMPER. I get angry too fast!

If a person you meet can’t handle your past or truth, they doesn’t deserve to be in your future. If you can’t just be real, regardless of the circumstances or people around you, then you’re living a lie. You’re living someone else’s life, not yours.

There’s no real happiness or self worth without being yourself.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

You cannot live a life imitating someone else. Even wgen it comes to sport - the golden rule it to be yourself. From the time, I started following this - I am much more content and happy.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

I can't live a lie anymore. I feel like doing something of my own. I have to accept my flauts where I went wrong. Learn from it and make a move ahead.

The easier something is, the LESS rewarding it will be.

Even winning the lottery is hard. Selling drugs and making the “quick” cash is easy. But the cons that come with it aren’t worth the rewards.

Look at Harvard University. Not everybody will get in there. Why? Because the rewards are so big, and the difficulty reflects that. Extremely hard, which is why the rewards are tremendous. There’s little, if any exception to this mantra. Live by it.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

What seems easy - doesn't suppose to be the best way out. Life makes us strong with all the challenges. It tests us - all we have to do is to face it.

Scared to start a business or to approach the girl/guy you like? In situations where you’re afraid of failing, or things not working out.. Keep this mantra in mind:

What If I succeed?

Every time you come across something you’re scared of, say – what If I succeed?

The great thing about this mantra is…. It keeps you focused on the positive, and the possibility of success. It locks your mind onto a positive outcome, as opposed to an undesirable outcome.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

  • Timing: When you Day

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

Probably, I am afraind of failure. But, now I got the point. I can't sit idle and regret whole life "If I would have tried - my life would have been different".

You know what most people do when faced with a challenge? They say things like….

  • I can’t do this!
  • It’s impossible!I’m not good enough!I’ll never be able to do it!It’s too hard!I may as well quit while I’m ahead!

But few of us will say – I’ll figure it out. 4 Simple words. And yet these 4 simple words keep you focused on what matters and what’s possible. This mantra declares that you’ll figure it out, no matter how hard or difficult it seems.

Saying I’ll figure it out is a declaration of commitment.

You declare that you’ll figure it out and overcome the obstacle, regardless of how big, ugly or problematic the obstacle is.

Please refer to the blog for more details on this activity.

  • Timing: When you face a challenge.

Ryan W Gvddgdgvdfg

We always panic whenever there is a problem or difficult situation. But now I try to stay calm and say "I will figure it out."
