About Me: Clinical Hypnotherapist, life coach, father, husband.
You should go to bed and get up at the same times every day. It’s like having an alarm clock on both ends — you try to sleep the same hours each night. This seems practical for living in modern society. We need predictability in our schedules. And we need to ensure adequate rest.
3days at a stretch woke up at 4.30 am .. Yes it is difficult at least now.. I still yawn a lot.. Yet .. !! I compensate for that.. hitting the bed early.
After been able to 6 am early morning. . . For fun and probably to ease up my day I thought to prepone my waking up time.... There I found this ... Wow... I am going for it now..
Those days are gone, when I used to struggle to get out of the bed. When I kept on snoozing the alarm so that I could dooze for a minute more..
Again I woke up before the alarm rang.. Only thing that I changed is my time when I hit the bed. Whenever, I feel too sleepy to stay up I understand that my am tired and need rest. Withut any hesitation, I head towards the bedroom.
As a result, I am happy early bird ...
For the last 10 days I have beat the alarm and woke up at 6am... It is working!!
I wake up at 6am but really feel lazy on the weekends. Then just motivate myself I was running through different webpages. Then came to keystooptimalliving.com... and there I found about the week end. I found it to be interesting so sharing it with you guys. "keystooptimalliving.com - How to wake up early?"
Got up early.. Friends.. Could you help me? I want to track my sleep. I was reading this lifehacker article and was wondering should I try this? Anyone tried?
My day begins at 6 am folowed by a short workout session and heavy meal. I love to ready my kids for school... and making the lunch box.. Waking up same time helps me to take care of everyone including myself without a single worry.
AAAhhhh... The fresh air of the morning.. I am trying Lexie to follow this routine too so that she sticks to a fix time to leave the bed. It is going on well.
As the winter is aproaching, I am facing problem to wake up early.. I just feel like curl in the blanket... No matter even if I sleep extra 15 minutes it doesn't seem to b enough.
I am waking up same time... since I had trouble with that.. now I got proper reasoning.. I have been unaware of it so long.
This is a big deal for me.. for the last 5 days I have gone to bed almost same time.. and suprisingly I have fallen asleep fast and work up same time max to max with a time difference of 5 mins. I feel like I won a game.
I was down with fever... 105 degree.. Scared like hell.. Was in hospital everything starting from my eating habit to strength just shattered.. I got weak. I won't be able to rise up early.. I actually realized I get a deep sleep and unless I feel reenergized I don't wake up. I decided to give myself all the time and rest it needs to get back into shape...
I have difficulty with the alarm clock.. tried so many times but think its time to change my alarm clock.
The second school says you should listen to your body’s needs and go to bed when you’re tired and get up when you naturally wake up. This approach is rooted in biology. Our bodies should know how much rest we need, so we should listen to them.
Those tricep dips killed me litterally. I got a bad pain.. I slept 2 hours more than usual. Couldn't make an effort to move. Gosh!!
Just listened to my body...
Having a horrible back pain. Going to spend the whole of the day in bed..
Don't know what is wrong, and I have been sleeping around 10 hours for the last few days. Having a mild headache all the time..
Can anyone out there HELP me?
For last 2 days I was sleeping late and had to wake up early.. I just thought to give my body a few hours of more rest and compensate. Yes honestly I was having troublle to get a proper sleep infact. Then while reading this article I understood that either I am making wrong anticipation over my sleeping habit.. going to follow the instructions as well as see how things go... sleep and active life.
Any suggestion?? Why I feel I didn't get enough sleep?
Go to bed only when you’re too sleepy to stay up, and get up at a fixed time every morning.
Had a very tiring day. So going to bed early tonight.
Wohhhh,,,,,, I go on talkinig about my observations about this habit change... But, honestly I have plenty of time for myself. I help my kid with homework, take her to swimming classes. In fact I am going to join a cookery class from next week...
There is no substitute to Good Habits.. !! It is good and now I finally have plenty of time in my hand foor myself.. :)
For last 5 days no caffeine in night in fact I made a fixed time to hit the bed.. I wake up fresh these day..
I am about to break my addiction of having caffiene through out the day and sometime after super. Now, while i was going though Steve's article I finally figured out what was actually messing up my sleeping cycle.
What a week.. But, dint stay awake much late.
Happy New Year!!
It is inter-related. If I get up early at a fixed time and follow a routine then I fall to sleep pretty early. Even with few hours but I have seen.. I really have a quality sleep. I really don't yawn the next morning..
